The formation of the landscape of overseas Chinese in Wenzhou in modern times Introduction
Since the opening of Wenzhou Port, the new type of transportation, mainly coastal shipping and inland river shipping, has had a deep impact on the local society, just like capillaries to the texture. As the “regional carrier of the immigration network”, the “overseas” in Wenzhou mountainous areas, plains and other places, as the social connection within and between them – the spatial distribution of the early history of oceans, provides a new observation perspective and thinking for exploring the history of overseas Chinese in modern Wenzhou and the formation of the landscape of overseas Chinese.
